"Over all people were surprised about the binders. They couldn’t believe how long they lasted or how sturdy they were. I even told them you put then in the washer to test them. Most of all they loved the product name. But my favorite was a woman who’s son wants to be an artist, she wanted to get him the binders go he could draw all over them and make them his traveling art. When we gave her a sample I thought she would cry she was so happy. It made my day."

Green Back to School Binders
July 23, 2009
Written By: Lefty

You care about the environment.  You work to save the planet, you work to green your life. So when you go back to school, you want to reuse and find non-toxic alternatives.  You don't pour motor oil into the Bay so why buy a vinyl binder?

Vinyl is toxic to produce, toxic to recycle and will stay in a landfill for thousands of years. A vinyl binder also relies on a tiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnny piece of vinyl to hold the covers on.

Go green for back to school supplies and get a product that is non-toxic to make and use, recycled and recyclable, will last much longer and even looks and feels better. I won't lie, they cost a little more, but if it lasts a whole year, or two or ten then you are saving money.

Lets see some Naked Binder facts:

Made locally (an all US product) - less travel from far off lands = less carbon emissions, also workers earning fair pay.

Recycled - our bare board binders are made with 100% recycled board, 97% is post consumer waste from Connecticut.

Recyclable - Naked Binders are 100% recyclable, alternatively, you could compost them.

Strong - Naked Binder sent our products to an independant lab.  They started flexing the binder (opening and closing) when they got to 50,000 flexs they called and said - 'um... how long do you want us to go on?' There was no change in the board.  Try that with vinyl.

Good Looking - well, you be the judge. Can your vinyl binder look this good? We think not.
